Description

The SFBI is a large facility that offers traditional incubation space, as well as dedicated fabrication areas, laboratories, and a kitchen incubator. Most services are paid (membership-based) but some events are hosted here that are free and open to the public. They offer several programs for entrepreneurs at different stages of the process. New entrepreneurs may be interested in the Runway program, a 3-month course that helps formalize a business idea.

Regional Development Corporation

Here are the Principle Service Areas:

Description

The RDC oversees several funding programs in Northern New Mexico. They host information sessions about various loans and grants that your business can apply for. Many of the financial resources available through the RDC are geared towards startups in the very early stages. Certain programs have other specific restrictions on industry or location.

Open to Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, Taos, San Miguel, Mora and Sandoval counties and the municipalities and the Native American Pueblos within these counties.

Description

SCORE (Service Corp of Retired Executives) is a leading, nation-wide organization that has assisted millions of entrepreneurs over its 50+ years of operation. SCORE is a resource partner of the SBA that offers access to a network of experienced business leaders who donate time to mentor entrepreneurs and small business owners. They also host free or inexpensive workshops online and at 300 local chapters around the United States. Mentoring can be conducted either in person or remotely and is always free and confidential, no matter how often you take advantage of this service.

SBDC at Santa Fe Community College

Here are the Principle Service Areas:

Description

The greatest strength of the SBDC is their free, confidential, 1-on-1 business mentoring for anyone who seeks it. Sometimes in order to be considered for mentoring from one of their professional business advisors, you may have to attend a class/workshop or at least present your business plan. SBDC's are located all throughout the state and you should use the SBDC closest to your location if possible, but you can often transfer to a different location if they do not fit your needs.

Women's Economic Self Sufficiency Team

Here are the Principle Service Areas:

Offers Free Service

Description

WESST is a small business support organization that provides entrepreneurs with workshops, advice when applying for financial assistance, networking events, etc. These resources are aimed at startups that have either just launched or are about to launch. WESST also hosts a Women’s Business Center Program focused on providing resources for women entrepreneurs. Most classes and courses are available for small fees, however, free events are also hosted. Consulting is provided through WESST at a low hourly cost. Their Albuquerque branch also offers an in-house incubator.
